This Privacy Policy explains how GemWalk ("GemWalk", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the GemWalk mobile application for iPhone. GemWalk does not use third-party advertising or tracking services in the version covered by this policy.

GemWalk is a location-based walking application that allows users to explore a map and search locally for virtual diamonds as a way to encourage walking and outdoor activity.

1. Data We Collect

GemWalk does not operate its own servers and does not directly collect, store, or maintain personal information about its users. GemWalk does not use personal information for advertising, cross-app tracking, or targeted advertising purposes.

The core functionality of GemWalk, including the use of your device's location to provide the map-based experience, is processed locally on your device.

2. Location Information

GemWalk may request access to your device's location in order to provide its map-based functionality and allow you to discover diamonds in your local area.

Location information used by GemWalk for its core functionality is processed locally on your device. GemWalk does not send your location information to a server operated by us, because GemWalk does not operate its own backend or user-data server.

You can allow or deny location access through the privacy settings on your iPhone. If you deny location access, certain location-based features of GemWalk may not function as intended.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

GemWalk does not operate a server or database in which we store personal information about users.

Consequently, GemWalk does not maintain a user account database or a personal-information database that can be accessed or deleted by us.

Information processed by Google AdMob is subject to Google's own retention and deletion practices. Requests concerning information processed directly by Google should be addressed to Google through its available privacy and data-management mechanisms.

4. Children's Privacy

GemWalk is not specifically directed at adults and may be used by people of different ages. We do not knowingly request or collect personal information from children for our own purposes.

Advertising services provided by Google may apply age-related restrictions, consent requirements, or other protections depending on the user's age, location, and applicable law.

5. Data Security

Because GemWalk does not operate its own backend or store personal user information on its servers, GemWalk does not maintain a central database of user personal information.

Third-party services, including Google AdMob, are responsible for the security of information they process through their respective services and infrastructure.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws, including rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information, as well as rights relating to consent and data portability.

Because GemWalk does not maintain a personal-information database, requests concerning information processed by GemWalk itself may be limited to information that is actually under our control.

For information processed by Google AdMob, you should exercise applicable rights through Google's privacy and data-management mechanisms.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to GemWalk, applicable laws, or the services used by the app.
